Arimidex Vs Femera

Post by Chadly on Sun Feb 21, 2016 12:13 pm

Hi, just wanted to know which anti-e is best for reducing the chance of getting gyno during a cycle since i'm very proned to it but would still like to use test in my cycles? I've tried arimidex and thought it was good but I'm looking for feedback on femera. Thank's!

Please don't answer questions you don't know the answers to cause this is how misinformation gets spread around... If you are unsure about an answer like this you should have looked it up first... Thanks

Here are the studies for Arimidex, Letrozole and Aromasin... Keep in mind that the % it lowers estrodiol is for normal Testosterone levels...

1mg Arimidex ed = aprox 50% decrease in Estrogens = 58% increase in Testosterone = No change in gh = 18% decrease in IGF = Ok for PCT but not the best
http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/85/7/2370?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=1&andorexacttitle=and&andorexacttitleabs=and&fulltext=arimidex&andorexactfulltext=and&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=0&sortspec=relevance&resourcetype=HWCIT

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/85/7/2370?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=1&andorexacttitle=and&andorexacttitleabs=and&fulltext=growth+hormone+igf+1+male+breast&andorexactfulltext=and&searchid=1137097133006_4759&FIRSTINDEX=20&sortspec=relevance&journalcode=jcem

12.5mg Letrozole ed = 46-62% lower estrogens dependent on age = 46% rise in Testosterone = Good for PCT if you ask me... There are more studies

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/90/10/5717?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=1&andorexacttitle=and&andorexacttitleabs=and&fulltext=SHBG&andorexactfulltext=and&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=200&sortspec=relevance&resourcetype=HWCIT

125mg Aromasin ed = aprox 40-62% lower estrogens = 60% increase in Testosterone = Plasma lipids and IGF-I concentrations were unaffected by treatment = The Best for PCT if you ask me

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/88/12/5951?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=1&andorexacttitle=and&andorexacttitleabs=and&fulltext=estrogen+male+muscle+metabolism&andorexactfulltext=and&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=70&sortspec=relevance&resourcetype=HWCIT

http://www.fda.gov/cder/foi/label/1999/20753LBL.PDF

I might as well add Tamoxifen = lowers gh and igf = No change in Free and Total Testosterone = Not good for PCT if you ask me and you are recovering on your own with little help from the nolva :

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/79/2/513?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=1&andorexacttitle=and&andorexacttitleabs=and&fulltext=+tamoxifen+testosterone&andorexactfulltext=and&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=0&sortspec=relevance&resourcetype=HWCIT

I will update the letrozole links... I can't find the one I want which is strange cause I have used it many times... it will show aprox 53% increase in Testosterone production but until then go with what I have above...

Anyway, all but Nolva raise test levels aprox 50% or more...

No biggie,,, its easy getting caught up in trying to help and easy to forget stuff... I keep notes and lots of links to info so I can sort through info for reference... Just like I will save this thread... I have in my favorites GenXXL threads... This helps me locate relivent info... Now if this question is brought up again I can easly link to it and I won't have to read through the 100 and more clinical studies to find the info needed to answer the questions... There are more studies with the same info... I just picked a few...

I had looked on 1Steroids.net and it had said that letro can remove up to 98% of estrogen, and it also said the effective does was .25 or .5 mg. The only time it recommended 2.5 mg was when trying to remove gyno. But i guess those posts are kind of out dated. It just hard to know which to trust and which to not. Thanks for the insight though. Cheers

There are too many variables...  Peak concentration from what I have read is within a few days but the studies arent done with guys doing cycles... with TRT yes but nothing more...  Logically while on cycle with aromatizing steroids they will compete for the aromatase enzyme giving greater concentration to free unbound letro but who wants it unbound... we want it all used...

Do they have the links to the clinical studies?... I say go with what is proven over and over cause that info they give may be word of mouth with nothing to back it up and things get mis quoted... Now is it possible to lower it that much with letro?... Maybe but certainly not at those doses... One thing is, I don't condone lowering estrogens below normal range... Example: if you are on a cycle of 500mg Test ew = 5 times the starting TRT dose,,, now many times higher do you think your estrogens are?... May be 5 times higher then normal.... taking a 2.5mg Letro ed will put you just at the normal range for estrogens... Thats my guess but tests to prove it would be nice but I think my guess will be close enough...

2.5... that seems like a lot. I have heard from people that that much kills their sex drive. Dont know where the science behind that is but... Also people say they use those kinds of doses to reverse gyno. Not prevent it, but just reverse it. Im not scrutinizing, just man, theres a lot of info out there. I wish it would all match up

2.5mg high,,, not at all... Read through the studies,,, do some searches... search for more studies by going to those links and hit the search button at the top of the page...

As for Letro killing guys sex drive,,, I don't see how that is possible, try and understand that guys telling you this are on many compounds at the same time and how they would know Letro is the cause... Letro , if you arent on any steroids will raise you test level aprox 46%... it also binds to SHBG to free up test... now logic tells me no way will this kill your libido... I take it everyday and it doesn't kill my libido one bit...

One more question: I plan on taking letro at 2.5 gms per day with my andropen/deca cycle. I was told to start it at week 2. Do I continue this all the way through my PCT?

I'd go for aromasin it doesn't have the the rebound effects in estrogen that the others do, it's good on your lipids as well. I've used Femara in 2 cycles now and at 2.5mg with 750mg of test e i had a low sex drive, test was the only compound i was running, when i lowered my dose of Femara it came back up. Just look at the AI ATD it's really popular now and is used in alot of over the counter supplements to supress estrogen, it works amazingly well at boosting your testosterone levels but it KILLS your sex drive.
