I am 6'0 and 205lbs. I read that only use 1 1/2" needles for injections in the glute. I have been using 1'' for the first 3 wks of a deca sust cycle. Have I been wasting the shot because I am not in the muscle or is 1'' ok?

If you are an extremely lean person, a 1in would work fine. Most people use 1and 1/2 to ensure that they get deep into the muscle. I would use a 1 1/2, but if you aren't having any problems as of yet I suppose 1 in will do for you. If you weren't getting into the muscle the sight would be irritated and red and you would have a hard lump over the muscle.

Use a 1.5". You wanna try to get it as deep as you can so you don't get any lumps or anything. That's the only spot that I use a 1.5 on. Ofcourse I'll rarely do glutes anyway.

i have used both 1" & 1.5" and i prefer the 1.5" i tend to have a lump for a few days after i use the 1" but do not get it with the 1.5". 1" is fine for almost all other injection sites though.

i use a 1" for glutes bro and i dont have any problems. im a pretty lean guy so the 1's work just fine for me.

bump to pin and buff d 1 1.5 works best to ensure that you get into the muscle well.

thanks for the suggestion; however, my concern is if I inject not deep enough is the shot wasted. I now use inch and 1/2 for glutes but am worried I have wasted the last three weeks on this sust ,deca, dbo l cycle. thanks for any help on this.

it was not wasted. if you dont inject deep enough and some ends up in the fat layer above the muscle, all it will do is slow down the release of the oil into the bloodstream. it may also cause a lump that will last awhile but that is about all. it was not wasted in any way.

Yeah, think of it as a reseverior that slowly lets it into your muscle from the fat stores that it got stuck in. But i wouldnt even waste my time with a 1'' in the glute just use a 1.5'' and forget about it

I use BD 21g 1in. needs for Test,Deca and EQ. Never had a problem but,like ramborippt I'm pretty lean. (7% and I consider myself fat)
